UZENERGYINSPECTION
Inspection for Control of Electricity, Petroleum Products, and Gas Usage
Main tasks:
– Implement state control over legal entities and individuals (excluding the general population) in their compliance with legislative documents and technical regulatory normative documents in the areas of production (extraction), processing, transmission (transportation), distribution, and consumption of fuel and energy resources, as well as ensuring their quality and quantity preservation;
– Identify, eliminate, and prevent illegal connections to electricity and gas transmission and distribution networks, misappropriation of fuel and energy resources, and other instances of illegal consumption, as well as the causes and conditions that enable such activities;
– Identify and eliminate discrepancies between the volume of fuel and energy resources directly consumed by users and those supplied to networks within the relevant territories;
– Monitor the development and implementation of measures by legal entities and individuals (excluding the general population) to prevent accidents and technological failures (breakdowns) at energy facilities;
– Monitor the implementation of renewable energy source installations, energy-efficient and energy-saving modern technologies, as well as track the efficiency of energy resource consumption;
– Evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken by consumers (excluding the general population) to ensure rational and efficient use of fuel and energy resources, as well as monitor the compliance with and future improvement of fuel and energy resource consumption standards per unit of production (work performed, services rendered).
Uzenergyinspection carries out the following functions in accordance with its assigned tasks:
– Implement state control over legal entities and individuals (excluding the general population) in their compliance with legislative documents and technical regulatory normative documents in the areas of production (extraction), processing, transmission (transportation), distribution, and consumption of fuel and energy resources, as well as ensuring their quality and quantity preservation;
– In the field of identifying and eliminating discrepancies between the volume of fuel and energy resources directly consumed by users and those supplied to networks within the relevant territories:
– Monitor the development and implementation of measures by legal entities and individuals (excluding the general population) to prevent accidents and technological failures (breakdowns) at energy facilities;
– Monitor the implementation of renewable energy source installations, energy-efficient and energy-saving modern technologies, as well as track the efficiency of energy resource consumption;
– Evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken by consumers (excluding the general population) to ensure rational and efficient use of fuel and energy resources, as well as monitor the compliance with and future improvement of fuel and energy resource consumption standards per unit of production (work performed, services rendered).
Organizational structure of Uzenergyinspection:
– Central office;
– Regional departments in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, provinces, and Tashkent city;
– Tashkent Central Control and Chemical Laboratory.
The regional departments and the Tashkent Central Control and Chemical Laboratory operate independently from local executive authorities in accordance with the regulations approved by Uzenergyinspection and are directly subordinate to Uzenergyinspection.
